National Public Lands Day Celebration at Abiquiu Lake

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Abiquiu Lake, will be hosting its National Public Lands Day celebration on Sat. Sept. 30, 2017. Activities will begin at 10:00 am at the Cerrito Boat Ramp parking lot, and end for lunch at 1:00 pm. Volunteers will be assisting lake staff with shoreline cleanup, river cleanup, trail work, and landscaping. [Read More]

Midwinter Bald Eagle Watch at Abiquiu Lake

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Abiquiu Lake will be hosting its annual Midwinter Eagle Watch on Saturday January 9, 2016, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. The event is open to the public. Army Corps of Engineers supports new “Every Kid in a Park” recreation initiative

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers joined the Federal Interagency Council on Outdoor Recreation for the start of a new initiative to give every child in the United States the chance to explore and learn about America’s great outdoors.
