SPECIAL ANNOUNCMENT: COVID-19 and Processing of Department of the Army Applications

In response to the evolving COVID-19 public health emergency, the Albuquerque District Regulatory field offices located in Pueblo, Durango, and Grand Junction are closed until further notice and will be executing the Regulatory Mission remotely. Below are instructions for electronic submittal of applications and other official requests. If you are unable to submit your request electronically, or if you have questions or need assistance preparing your request, please contact one of the project managers listed on this page. 

Southern Colorado Regulatory Branch

The Southern Colorado Branch operates out of the Durango and Pueblo field offices and includes the following counties: Alamosa, Archuleta, Baca, Bent, Chaffee, Cheyenne, Conejos, Costilla, Crowley, Custer, Dolores, El Paso, Fremont, Hinsdale, Huerfano, Kiowa, Lake, Las Animas, La Plata, Lincoln, Mineral, Montezuma, Otero, Prowers, Pueblo, Rio Grande, Saguache, San Juan, and Teller. If your project is not located in one of these counties, please refer to the Colorado Regulatory Map, and contact the Regulatory office that covers your area.

How to submit requests and information: All permit applications, preconstruction notifications, requests for jurisdictional determinations, compliance certifications, and monitoring reports should be submitted electronically to SPA-RD-CO@usace.army.mil.  Within  five working days from submitting your request, you will be notified of the assigned project manager and project number.  With the exception of compliance certification forms and monitoring reports, information relating to existing pending projects can be sent directly to the project manager assigned to the action.
