COCHITI LAKE, N.M. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Albuquerque District is hosting a boater’s certification course for rangers and maintenance staff at the lake Tuesday, Aug. 22 – Thursday, Aug. 24, 2023.

This certification course is required for rangers and maintenance staff. During portions of the course, participants may cause some “wakes” on the lake. We appreciate the public’s understanding during this time.

Cochiti Lake remains a “no-wake” lake and the boating public is still required to drive at slow speeds so as not to cause wakes.

As a reminder, the current status of recreation at all of the USACE-Albuquerque District’s lakes can be viewed online at https://www.spa.usace.army.mil/Missions/Civil-Works/Recreation/Updates/
