    Water, Weather and the Future

    In cooperation with the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation and Sandia National Labs, the Corps of Engineers recently issued the West-Wide Climate Risk Assessment: Upper Rio Grande Impact Assessment (URGIA), which investigates historic and future climate trends in the Rio Grande Basin.
  • District Participates in STEM Festival

    District Commander Lt. Col. Gant and several members of the Albuquerque District S.T.E.M team participated in the 1st Annual S.T.E.M. Festival at the Albuquerque Convention Center, Feb. 22, 2014.
  • Students Study STEM through Interactive Presentations

    Seventy students from two area schools gathered at the District’s main office to learn more about the importance of STEM and some of the various ways these subjects are essential in what the Corps of Engineers does on a daily basis.
  • Regulator Receives Earth Science Achievement Award

    On Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014, Marcy Leavitt, branch chief of the Texas/New Mexico Regulatory Division in the District, was the recipient of the 2014 New Mexico Earth Science Achievement Award.
