    The mission of the Regulatory Program is to protect the Nation's aquatic resources and navigable capacity, while allowing for reasonable development, through fair and balanced decisions. In the context of the Regulatory Program, Tribes may be an applicant for a permit, a consulting party under Section 106, or in a government-to-government consultation.

    Fedoroff selected for national tribal role

    Michael Fedoroff has recently been selected for a developmental assignment as the new deputy to the director of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Tribal Nations Technical Center of Expertise, or TNTCX, in Albuquerque, N.M. The virtual position will allow him to work from Mobile while assisting to manage the TNTCX’s tribal consultation support program for both military and civil works.

    U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Chief of Engineers Lt. Gen. Thomas Bostick recently announced the formal establishment of the Corps of Engineers Tribal Nations Technical Center of Expertise located in the Albuquerque District.
