Portions of Cochiti Lake to be closed during permitted special event, Sept. 22-24, 2021

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Albuquerque District has announced today that portions of Cochiti Lake will be closed due to a permitted special event.

The Cochiti Lake boat ramp will be closed Sept. 23-24. The boat ramp will reopen Sept. 25 at the normal time. The designated Swim Beach will remain open and will allow access to all visitors during the event. The public is also advised that portions of the shoreline and lake will have restricted access during this time. Additionally, the Ringtail Loop campsites will be closed Sept. 22-23.
