    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Abiquiu Lake will host its annual midwinter eagle count event on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • U.S. Army Corps of Engineers waives fees on National Public Lands Day, Sept. 22

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has announced that it will waive day use fees, normally charged at boat launch ramps, and swimming beaches, at its recreation areas, nationwide, in recognition of National Public Lands Day on Saturday, Sept. 22. The Albuquerque District has also announced events open to the public that will be held at four of its New Mexico lakes on National Public Lands Day.
  • National Public Lands Day Celebration at Abiquiu Lake

    For the 12th consecutive year, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Abiquiu Lake will host its National Public Lands Day celebration Saturday, September 27. Activities begin at 10:00 am at the Cerrito Boat Ramp parking lot, and end for lunch at 1:00 pm.
  • District Waives Day Use Fees; Hosts National Public Lands Day Events at 4 Project Sites

    National Public Lands Day, the largest annual volunteer hands-on restoration activity of its kind, is Saturday, Sept. 27. Albuquerque District is hosting four events at Abiquiu, Cochiti and Conchas lakes in New Mexico and John Martin Reservoir in southern Colorado. Day use fees will be waived.
