CONCHAS LAKE, N.M., – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Albuquerque District staff at Conchas invite the public to an Earth Day Cleanup community volunteer event at the lake on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
The Earth Day Cleanup will take place from 8:00 am to 10:00 am, Saturday, April 25, 2026. Volunteers are asked to meet at the Ranger Station in the lake’s South Side Recreation Area. The event is free and open to the public. USACE rangers will be on site and gloves and trash bags will be provided.
“Let’s celebrate Earth Day together while protecting Conchas Lake for years to come!” said Justin Gibson, lead ranger at Conchas Lake.
