Hunting is available on a walk-in basis only. The amount of land available and allocated to wildlife management encompasses all fee-owned lands not allocated to administration or recreation. Two Rivers has game bird species such as mourning dove and scaled quail. Mammals that inhabit Two Rivers include pronghorn antelope, mule deer, porcupine, black tailed prairie dog, black tailed jackrabbit, cottontail rabbit and several species of rodents.

Two Rivers also has six new spacious day-use picnic shelters and a new sanitary facility.
