Midwinter Bald Eagle Watch at Abiquiu Lake

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Abiquiu Lake will be hosting its annual Midwinter Eagle Watch on Saturday January 9, 2016, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. The event is open to the public. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announces changes in recreation day use fees beginning Jan. 1, 2016

WASHINGTON - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) announced today that beginning Jan. 1, 2016, the recreation day use fees charged for boat launches and swimming beaches managed by USACE will change to a simpler fee structure. Army Corps of Engineers supports new “Every Kid in a Park” recreation initiative

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers joined the Federal Interagency Council on Outdoor Recreation for the start of a new initiative to give every child in the United States the chance to explore and learn about America’s great outdoors.
