Boat license training course participants have exemption from no-wake rule at Cochiti Lake July 15-17

COCHITI LAKE, N.M. – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Albuquerque District staff at Cochiti Lake is scheduled to participate in a boater’s license training course from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, daily from July 15-17, 2025, at the lake.

The course is required training for the staff to maintain their boater’s licenses.

Course participants have an exception to the no-wake rule for training and testing purposes during this timeframe and/or while responding to an on-water emergency.

Cochiti Lake remains a no-wake lake, and the boating public must continue to follow the no-wake rule.
