Major Brett Fuller

Major Brett Fuller is a native of Bremerton, Washington. In 2007, he graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from Missouri University of Science and Technology (MS&T) and a Master of Science degree in Human Centered Design and Engineering (HCDE) from the University of Washington. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Missouri and a Project Management Professional. His military education includes the Engineer Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, the Joint Humanitarian and Joint Engineer Operations Courses, and the Command and General Staff College.

Major Fuller was initially assigned to the 54th Engineer Battalion, 18th Engineer Brigade located in Bamberg, Germany, where he served from 2008 until 2012. His deployments included Operation Iraqi Freedom 08-09 and Operation Enduring Freedom 10-11.

In 2013, Major Fuller was assigned to the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He served as the Battalion Air Officer for six months planning air assault operations from platoon to brigade level. He then served as an Infantry Weapons Company Commander and deployed to Kuwait in support of Operation Resolute Support 14-15.

From 2019-2021, Major Fuller served in Hawaii as a Project Manager for the USACE Honolulu District, the Operations Officer for the 29th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, and the Operations Officer for the 130th Engineer Brigade.

Major Fuller has earned the Parachutist Badge, Air Assault Badge, Combat Action Badge, Expert Infantryman’s Badge, German Proficiency Badge (Gold), Ranger Tab, Sapper Tab, and Jungle Tab.    

His awards include the Bronze Star (3), Meritorious Service Medal (2), Army Commendation Medal (6), Army Achievement Medal (3), Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal, Meritorious Unit Citation (3), Iraq (2) and Afghanistan (2) Campaign Medals, Global War on Terror Expeditionary Medal, NATO Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, the Engineer Regiment’s Steel Order of the de Fleury Medal, and the Infantry Regiment’s Centurion Order of the Saint Maurice Medal.

Major Fuller is married to Michelle who hails from Edmonds, Washington. They have three children.
