    The South Pacific Division has published a notice announcing FINAL Regional Compensatory Mitigation and Monitoring Guidelines to be followed in South Pacific Division’s subordinate districts (Albuquerque, San Francisco, Sacramento, and Los Angeles districts) regarding procedures for compensatory mitigation as required for processing of Department of the Army (DA) permits under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act, Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act, and Section 103 of the Marine Protection, Research, and Sanctuaries Act.
  • Gelles Family Property Mixed-Use Commercial Development (Action No. SPA-2014-00524)

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Albuquerque District, (Corps) is evaluating a permit application for the Gelles Family Trust & Gale C. Gelles 2002 Revoc. Trust (Gelles Family) to construct an approximately 18-acre commercial development, including buildings, parking lots, stormwater systems, and all utilities, at the northeast corner of Black Forest Road and Woodmen Road in Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Colorado. The project would result in permanently impacts to approximately 0.95 acre of wetlands adjacent to an unnamed Sand Creek tributary. Details of the project are provided in this public notice and in the attached maps and drawings. The purpose of this public notice is to inform interested parties of the project and to solicit comments.
