PUBLIC NOTICE SPK-2004-75197; County Road (CR) 522 project

Expiration date: 6/25/2023

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Albuquerque District, (Corps) is evaluating a request from the Grand County Board of Commissioners (applicant) to extend the expiration date of a previously issued Department of the Army (DA) Standard Individual Permit which authorized the construction of a two-lane road and pedestrian trail within waters of the United States (WOTUS). The applicant was initially provided Corps authorization for the project on June 15, 2012, and received a previous permit extension on August 31, 2020. Another extension has now been requested to allow for time to complete the project. This notice is to inform interested parties of the proposed activity and to solicit comments.

SPA-2023-00124 - Pueblo Southside Diversion Dam Modification

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Albuquerque District, (Corps) is evaluating a permit application from the Board of Water Works of Pueblo, Colorado (applicant,) to construct the Pueblo Southside Diversion Dam Modification project, which would result in permanent impacts to 4.02 acres of streambed within the ordinary high-water mark of the Arkansas River and permanent impacts to approximately 0.58 acre of adjacent wetlands. This notice is to inform interested parties of the proposed activity and to solicit comments.

SPK-2001-75341 - Lot 4 Betterview Business Park

Expiration date: 5/5/2023

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Albuquerque District, (Corps) is evaluating a request from Kruse Builders to construct a mixed-use complex on Lot 4 of the Betterview Business Park. Proposed activities on this lot would result in permanent fill impacts to 0.21 acre of wetlands. Given that two previous Department of the Army (DA) permits have authorized a total 0.63 acre of permanent wetland impacts at the Betterview Business Park development, this current proposal requires review under a DA Standard Individual Permit. PUBLIC NOTICE: SPK-2014-00518 Clinton Gulch Reservoir Expansion Project

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Albuquerque District, is evaluating a request from the Clinton Ditch & Reservoir Company to raise the elevation of the spillway of the Clinton Gulch Reservoir to increase the storage capacity of the reservoir by 473 acre-feet. The proposed project would result in the loss of 3.02 acres of wetlands, including 1.27 acre of fen wetlands, and 85 linear feet of Clinton Creek (perennial stream). This notice is to inform interested parties of the proposed activity and to solicit comments.
