The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Albuquerque District (Corps), is evaluating a permit modification request with an updated compensatory mitigation plan for the Regency Park Development in Monument, Colorado, which would result in impacts to approximately 4.90 acres of total, permanent wetland impacts (existing and proposed) to Jackson Creek, No Name Creek, including 109 linear feet of waters of the United States in or adjacent to Teachout Creek, No Name Creek, and Jackson Creek. The project also includes a proposal to temporarily impact an additional temporary 0.34-acre of upland/secondary Preble’s meadow jumping mouse (PMJM) habitat with no impacts to wetlands for the construction of stormwater utilities within the lower Teachout Basin. This notice is to inform interested parties of the proposed activity and to solicit comments.
