The study area is located within the boundaries of the Pueblo of Santa Ana approximately 20 miles north of the City of Albuquerque, NM.  The Pueblo totals approximately 123.5 square miles.  Resources impacted by changing land use patterns include; the natural environment, natural patterns of hydrology, hydraulics and sedimentation, regional water quality and quantity and traditional cultural practices.  The study will examine a variety of opportunities to protect and preserve these resources.
