General Information

While visiting Santa Rosa Lake, we ask that you observe Corps of Engineers, federal and state regulations that governs the use of this park. For everyone's enjoyment and safety, please note the following:

General Public Use

  • Camping is permitted at developed campgrounds
  • Limit is 14 days within a 30-day period
  • Pets are welcome, but must be leashed
  • Confine fires to grills or established pits only, and extinguish fires prior to departure
  • Deposit all trash and refuse in designated bins. Drive and park vehicles only on developed roads and parking areas
  • Loaded firearms, ammunition, explosives of any kind, archery equipment, etc., are prohibited
  • Destruction, injury, defacement, or removal of public property, including vegetation, natural and cultural resources is prohibited
  • Hiking is permitted on established paths and trails
