Special Public Notice Announcing Revision of the Colorado Regional Conditions for the 2012 Nationwide Permits

Published March 29, 2013
On March 19, 2012, the Albuquerque District Corps of Engineers announced the implementation of regional conditions for the 2012 nationwide permits (NWP) within the State of Colorado. These regional conditions, which are valid until March 18, 2017, provide additional protection for Colorado's aquatic resources by helping ensure NWPs only authorize activities with minimal adverse effects on the aquatic environment.

The purpose of this public notice is to announce revision of the attachments to the regional conditions, which reflect changes in the list of Critical Resource Waters, as designated by the Colorado Water Quality Control Division, and the Gold Medal Waters, as designated by Colorado Parks and Wildlife. No substantive changes to the regional conditions were made.

Click here or visit our NWP webpage (www.spa.usace.army.mil/reg/NWP) to obtain a copy of the Colorado updated Colorado Regional Conditions.

Questions or comments concerning the changes to these lists of special aquatic resources and how they may affect the Corps' Regulatory Program should be directed to:
