Coolidge Dam
The downstream side of the Coolidge Dam, Nov. 14, 2019. The district is working on awarding a construction contract for the Bureau of Indian Affairs to upgrade the dam's hydraulic and electrical systems, install two 8-foot diameter butterfly valves, and work on the penstocks. The dam is located on the Gila River, on the San Carlos Indian reservation in Arizona, and is used for flood control and irrigation purposes.
