ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., -- Ninety-three years ago the U.S. Secretary of State, Bainbridge Colby, signed the 19th Amendment into law on August 26, 1920, giving women the right to vote. In honor of this year’s Women’s Equality Day the District conducted voter registration.
