Maj. Charles R. Snodgrass arrived at the Albuquerque District in June 2025.
Maj. Snodgrass was commissioned into the U.S. Army as a Field Artillery Officer in 2013 and transitioned to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 2017.
Maj. Snodgrass’s prior assignments include serving in the 101st Airborne Division (AASLT), Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, as Company Commander of Headquarters and Headquarters Company and Battalion Assistant Operations Officer, 21st Brigade Engineer Battalion, and as Brigade Engineer. He also served as Platoon Leader and Fire Support Officer in the 3rd Infantry Division, Ft. Stewart, Georgia. These assignments include deployments to Lithuania, Poland, and Bulgaria.
After Company Command, Maj. Snodgrass served in the USACE-Baltimore District as a Project Engineer and Project Manager for Fort Meade East Campus construction and worked in emergency operations during the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse in 2024.
Maj. Snodgrass holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Colorado, a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Florida, a master’s degree in construction management from the University of Miami, and a master’s degree in operational studies from the United States Army Command and General Staff College.
Maj. Snodgrass is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Florida and a licensed Project Management Professional.
Maj. Snodgrass’ military awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal (OLC), National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Air Assault Badge, Sapper Tab, and the Ranger Tab.
Maj. Snodgrass and his wife, Briana, have two children.
