URGWOM Model DataIntroductionModel input and supporting data are presented here. Data actually read into the URGWOM models and used in calibration and verification of the URGWOM physical and accounting models are considered "model input data". Additional data collected for the URGWOM modeling project and used to calculate or estimate some of the model input data, but not used in the calibration and verification process are considered supporting data. Model input data has not been distinguished from supporting data. Periods of record available include 1985-99 for the URGWOM physical model; and 1995-96, 2000 for the URGWOM accounting model. Data are presented by subject categories as organized in the URGWOM database. Explanatory comments regarding the source and any modification of the data are presented in the "metadata" files available for viewing and downloading. Metadata files also include data organization by site, river reach, and subject category. Daily, time-series data (flow, reservoir stage, reservoir storage, and so on) are presented for viewing and downloading. Metadata and DataAgriculture - includes crop deep percolation, canal seep, crop acreage, and estimated actual evapotranspiration rate by reach by crop. Diversions - flow in diversion canals, associated ditches, and drains. Ettool - includes crop acreage and consumptive use by reach by crop. Local Inflow - estimated ungaged side inflows to the Rio Grande. Reservoirs - includes numerous reservoir records such as pool elevation, temperature, and sedimentation. River Leakage - computed gross leakage from the Rio Grande. Stage - elevation of water surface San Juan-Chama Accounts - includes San Juan-Chama Contractor accounting data. Streams - flow in the Rio Grande and its tributaries. Wastewater - wastewater treatment plant discharge. |
