Conchas Dam and Lake - Location Maps Conchas Lake is located in the east central part of San Miguel County and within the boundaries of the Pablo Montoya Grant. Most of the area surrounding Conchas Lake is privately owned cattle ranches. The lake extends 11 miles southwest along the Conchas River and northwest along the South Canadian River for approximately 14 miles.
Driving Directions: Conchas Dam & Lake is located in northeast New Mexico, about 50 miles northeast of Santa Rosa and 32 miles northwest of Tucumcari and 72 miles southeast of Las Vegas, N.M.
