PUBLIC NOTICE FOR FEDERAL REGISTER NOTICE ANNOUNCING THE REISSUANCE OF THE NATIONWIDE PERMITS for TEXAS - 1/12/2017: On January 6, 2017, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) published the notice in the Federal Register announcing the reissuance of all 50 existing nationwide permits (NWPs), general conditions, and definitions with some modifications. The Corps also issued two new NWPs, one new general condition, and five new definitions. The 2017 NWPs will go into effect on March 19, 2017, and will expire on March 18, 2022.

SPECIAL PUBLIC NOTICE - Albuquerque District Implementation of Regulatory Guidance Letter (RGL) 16-01 - 12/19/2016: On October 31, 2016, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) issued RGL 16-01, Subject: Jurisdictional Determinations. The RGL explains the difference between Preliminary Jurisdictional Determinations (PJD) and Approved Jurisdictional Determinations (AJD) and provides guidance to USACE districts and the regulated public on when it may be appropriate to issue jurisdictional determinations (JD) in light of recent Supreme Court decisions.
