National Public Lands Day Celebration at Abiquiu Lake

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Abiquiu Lake, will be hosting its National Public Lands Day celebration on Sat. Sept. 30, 2017. Activities will begin at 10:00 am at the Cerrito Boat Ramp parking lot, and end for lunch at 1:00 pm. Volunteers will be assisting lake staff with shoreline cleanup, river cleanup, trail work, and landscaping. [Read More]

Army Corps of Engineers waives fees, holds events in observance of National Public Lands Day, Sept. 24

National Public Lands Day, the largest annual volunteer hands-on restoration activity of its kind, is Saturday, Sept. 24. Army Corps of Engineers waives day-use fees on National Public Lands Day, Sept. 29

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) announced today that it will waive day-use fees at its more than 2,400 USACE-operated recreation areas nationwide in recognition of National Public Lands Day, Sept. 29. On this day, fees normally charged at boat launch ramps and swimming beaches will be waived. USACE does not charge entrance fees to its parks. [Read More]
