TRINIDAD, Colo. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Albuquerque District announced today that County Road 18.3 will be closed Monday Feb. 14 through Friday, Feb. 18, 2022, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day.
County Road 18.3 is the road that goes across Trinidad Dam. The gates will be closed from the south at the entrance to the Trinidad Lake project area and on the north end, right after the entrance to the boat ramp. Alternate route on State Highway 12 and through Trinidad is advised during this time.
The closure is to allow for surveying related to the routine 5-year periodic inspection of Trinidad Dam.
